Our multi-purpose vessels are equipped with dedicated in-built well stimulation systems that are designed to increase subsea well efficiency offering our clients greater flexibility to expand their IRM requirements and lower the total cost of ownership.
Subsea 7 provides complete turn-key or scalable solutions to remediate and mitigate the challenge of system blockages. These can range from chemical imbalances that cause a plug, paraffin or wax build up, or a hydrate blockage. Utilising expertise and equipment in house and through strategic partnerships Subsea 7 can execute the full work scope to provide a fully integrated service.
Subsea 7 has designed, developed and deployed a new hydrate remediation skid (HRS) to track and clear blockages in small volume subsea systems. The system, which has demonstrated its capabilities with 100% uptime, can interface with work class and heavy work class ROVs, operating from multi-service vessels or drilling rigs. It features numerous smart controls, allowing for more efficient and cost-effective remote operations.
Subsea 7 has developed an ROV based pumping solution, used as an alternative to coil tubing, that is powered hydraulically and electrically through a valve pack. The pump utilised is a multi-stage flushing pump that can be configured to meet specific flow rate demands. This solution has many client benefits including reduced deck footprint and lower mobilisation costs and time.
Hot taps are used to bore a pilot hole, tap it, and install a fitting into a live pipeline. This is done to remediate a blockage, or route flow to another source without losing product or shutting down the system. Subsea 7 has extensive experience in this field and has completed shallow and deep water operations.
Subsea 7 designs, engineers, fabricates and delivers bespoke and standard intervention solutions. These solutions can be turnkey to include a vessel, ROV, and tooling or custom-made to solve a specific project challenge.
With a global network of support bases supplying fully specialised engineering and project management services, Subsea 7 is committed to providing world-leading subsea intervention technology.
In addition to an extensive pool of intervention tooling solutions, which have become industry standard, Subsea 7 offers the ability to deliver bespoke engineered solutions when the need for unplanned subsea interventions arise.
This leading technology is a proven failsafe system and its deployment produces zero emissions. An inbuilt heating system mitigates against hydrate formation. Sample analysis provides full production fluid chemistry of oil, condensate and formation water. Data obtained can be used to check for inter-well connection, calibration of sub-sea flow-meters and fiscal allocations.
With one of the largest and most experienced engineering capabilities in the industry we deliver a range of services including tree installation, tree component replacement, hot tapping, and emergency pipeline repair systems with ROV or diver support.
Using innovative technologies we assist our clients to maintain and enhance production through various blockage remediation, hydrate management and engineered intervention solutions.
